Not sure what Psychic Telephone is all about? Check out our first and second posts for an introduction to the project. Read our first post about Tanya here.
Tanya would call energy, divine energy, part of our spiritual body but also a connection to something higher. Which could be God, could be divine law, could be just the metaphysical quantum-physics laws of the universe. She’s not attached to what it is. But it’s a higher—a higher vibration. That’s the easiest way for her to put it. And when you let in divine energy, both earth energy and cosmic energy, you let in that higher-vibration part of yourself, which brings a lot more psychic awareness.
In her classes, you learn how to manage energy. It’s all done in meditation. You draw up Earth energy from the ground. Earth energy is very healing, a highly healing vibration. And you call in cosmic energy through the top of your head, from what she calls the center of the universe. A student whose wife is a physicist was like, The universe has no center—she knows. So she’ll say, from above. Cosmic energy is our connection to Source. To God, if you believe in God. You don’t have to. It could be your higher self, your truth. And she finds that the cosmic energy feels lighter, more etheric than Earth energy. Less solid, less 3D. It’s more what people call 5D. You’re going into the fifth dimension. You’re bringing in more than just what we can see and touch.

When you start playing with energy, you’re looking at keeping your chakras active, balanced, and clear. And releasing the energy that you might pick up that’s not your highest good. She’s seen that usually the sensitive or psychic people are just exhausted and full of everyone else’s energy. She used to call it the psychic sponge. The word that people use now is empath. Empaths take it all on. And learning how to run energy to clear out their chakras helps them maintain a strong aura bubble, to have better boundaries.
You also learn how to release old energy—old traumas from your past, stuck emotions, old belief systems. Sometimes there’s so much put on us from the outside world. Being born a woman, our sexuality, our creativity. And it does help to learn how to dismantle the programming we’ve been given. She thinks we have to kind of move that off to find our authentic expression of ourselves. The idea is, you start with your own healing first. You have to heal yourself before you can work on other people.
So the majority of the classes she teaches are about self-healing, but you learn how to read others as well. Both involve getting your physical body and your spiritual body in synergy, in sync. And you’re working on what she would call opening the sixth chakra, or the intuitive mind. In our brains, she says, we have two parts. Up in front is the analyzer. The analyzer sorts information and googles it, you know, and the hamster wheel starts. Then there’s the center of your head—the third eye, where the sixth chakra lies. And that’s where insight comes in. The insights are not in the analyzer. All that comes from the center of the head. So she teaches people to get into that part of the brain.
The changes can happen too fast for some people. She’s had many students start these programs and then reach a point where they’re like, I can’t do this anymore. It’s too much. And sometimes they lose friends. Not just by becoming psychic—you lose friends when you start not accepting the same things you used to accept, or doing the same things you used to do. But not all psychics talk about personal growth. Not all psychics teach that way, or work in that way. Some psychics just want to bring a pendulum out and be like, Oh yeah, this guy’s good for you, this guy’s not. And that’s a very different program.

merry mess to you and thanks for your persistence. my NY resolution...
